Back on the road training this month as the charity ride season is approaching – I have a couple of 35 mile ones in mind but thinking about a bigger challenge and doing a 50 !
Lovely day down at Southend riding along the front – so nice to have a cycle path to ride on and keep away from the cars – wish we had that in more towns and cities.
Pleased with results as I did just over 30 miles in 2 hours so a decent average and all done in one stint.
Lovely to see so many people out early training – its not true to say the younger generation do not exercise from what I have seen – lots of women out now as well – cycling really has exploded in this country now.
Gentle note to Government – please give us more paths to ride on and we will use them !
