We’re always on the lookout for talent that can enhance our company’s skills and make us deliver the best we can for our clients. This week we announced the appointment of Jessica Hill as an additional Quality Assurance Test Engineer.
Jessica’s addition to our team follows an earlier hire this month, where we welcomed our new chief commercial officer – Sean Neal.
Jessica will be responsible for testing software code releases as well as implementing robust automated testing frameworks for API development work, to enable secure and faster releases of code for brokers, translating innovation into sustainable, secure solutions.
The appointment is part of SchemeServe’s ongoing growth plans and recruitment drive announced earlier this year. We’ve more than doubled our headcount in 12 months due to the continued demand from the industry for innovative cloud-based insurance software solutions.
Our growth during the Covid period is in no small part due to the changes in brokers and insurers’ attitudes to technology. With so much potential for innovation in insurance, the race is on to deliver brokers with faster and better code, either to take the edge on the competition now, or simply to offer an all-round better customer experience.
This is why quality assurance testing has become so vital. Hiring good quality testers frees up our engineers to do what they do best – innovate. Meanwhile quality testers like Jessica will ensure we can translate innovation into sustainable, secure solutions.
To give you a bit of background to our new recruit – Jessica is an experienced Test Analyst, joining from Allpay Ltd, a company providing customers with options for paying bills online, and methods for collecting payments. As a Test Analyst in the Quality Assurance team she was responsible for manual and automated software, API, website, systems integration, and mobile app testing. So, she knows her stuff!
