We would like to congratulate Andrew Swan one of our Scheme Tailor’s, who has just completed the London Marathon. He took part in the event in memory of his beautiful niece and Goddaughter, Izzy.
Andy ran to raise money for The Isobel Parmenter Memorial Fund at the Children’s Cancer and Leukemia Group. The fund was set up to help the research for causes, diagnosis and treatment of Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis , which is a rare cancer like group of diseases caused by an increase of the histiocytes (white blood cells) in the blood and tissue.
The Isobel Parmenter Memorial Fund has raised over £30000 to date for this worthwhile cause.
