This week SchemeServe will have its own stand at the Broker Extra virtual event taking place between the 8-10 July. The event, which is dedicated exclusively to the UK insurance broker market as an online event, is free to attend for brokers.
It’s the first event to take place since lockdown ended so we think it’s vital to get back in there and mingle with industry peers and businesses that can support you in a post-Covid world. It’s one of the safest ways to conduct an expo right now and is sure to present many opportunities.

Who’s hosting it?
It is hosted by Insurance Age and, at the time of writing, there are currently 753 brokers registered to attend the event.
The event will include notable speakers such as Phil Bayles chief distribution officer of Aviva; Ant Middle, chief executive officer of Ageas Broker; Suzy Middleton, deputy CEO of SEIB Insurance Brokers, and many more.
How to arrange a meeting
Attendees will be able to arrange private business meetings and network. If you’re not sure who you’d like to network with you can make use of the AI matchmaking technology, which will present you with other attendees who have the same interests that you have and those that offer services or products that you need.
All you have to do is register online and you will receive a link and unique access code to the event. This will enable you to take a look at who you’d like to arrange meetings with.
Attendees will be able to set up their profile in Brella and talk to other attendees. The system allows you to schedule meetings before during and after Broker Extra (the biggest free to attend virtual networking conference).
If you’re super busy you can also decline any meeting requests or reschedule a meeting if you prefer to have it at another date and time.
Overall, it’s going to be the largest online event for brokers to attend for a couple of months. It will have live webinars featuring top speakers and will give brokers a chance to network with a range of industry-leading experts.
